Luke Sefton
President, P.E.
Luke A. Sefton, P.E., C.F.M. is a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer and longtime Arizona resident with over 35 years of civil engineering, surveying, project/fiscal management, and military leadership experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northern Arizona University as well as completion of the Engineer Officer Course in Fort Belvoir, VA and is licensed to practice civil engineering in Arizona and New Mexico as a Professional Engineer and Certified Floodplain Manager.
Luke specializes in flood studies, drainage reports, storm sewer design, subdivision development, infrastructure design (including street and utility plans), and project management. He has special expertise in hydrology, hydraulic system engineering and floodplain development and has a long history of being actively involved in infrastructure design, including utility plans, sewer/water and grading plans for residential and commercial developments.
Luke ‘s successful approach to Engineering comes from over 20 years of knowledge and associations gained during his employment in both the public and the private sectors. He has worked with various agencies to perform inspections on roads, drainage, subdivisions and infrastructures, and has developed professional associations and gained the respect of city, county and government officials in the Verde Valley. He has assisted and overseen numerous commercial subdivision and site design projects for the public, municipal and private sector, including the organization of community meetings, presentations, and public outreach.
Throughout his career Luke has drawn on the communication and decision-making skills gained during his 19-year career with the Military. During that time, Luke successfully interacted with local, federal, and foreign governments in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Germany. As a Major in the Arizona National Guard, he served as a Battalion Training Officer as well as overseeing the design and construction projects of several Engineering Companies. He was also a Commander of the Flagstaff/Prescott National Guard unit, held various positions at Camp Navajo, and is a certified U.S. Army Instructor. He is highly decorated for his management and leadership style along with his ability to provide solutions to severe problems with limited assets.

Timothy Huskett
Vice President P.E., C.F.M
Timothy Huskett is a certified Arizona Professional Engineer and Certified Floodplain Manager. He received his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, Arizona in 2004 and joined the staff of Sefton Engineering Consultants, LLC in 2013. He is now Vice President and project lead with many major clients.

Timothy specializes in hydrologic and hydraulic drainage analysis for site development and has designed numerous flood fringe and floodway design reports. He has also prepared drainage studies for county, city, and federal agency review. His knowledge of FLO-2D hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, along with his experience using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HydraFlow, and WaterCAD software make Timothy a valuable member of our team at Sefton Engineering Consultants.
Prior to his career at Sefton Engineering Consultants, Timothy was employed at Southwest Environmental Consultants for 9 years as a Design Engineer. He was the recipient of the Chief Manuelito Scholarship from 1994 to 1998, awarded to those individuals who maintained a high GPA while attending NAU. Prior to his graduation from Northern Arizona University, Timothy Huskett gained professional engineering experience through various internships such as Rocky Mountain Oilfield and Testing Center in Casper, Wyoming; Winslow Indian Health Services Environmental Services in Winslow, Arizona; and Western Region Office Indian Health Services Environmental Services in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Timothy is a former member of American Indian Science and Engineering Society and a Board Member at Flagstaff First Assembly in Flagstaff. As an active member in the Flagstaff Leadership Program, he is eager to assist in the many challenges and opportunities facing the greater Flagstaff area.
