Luke Sefton
President, P.E.

Luke A. Sefton, P.E., C.F.M. is a Licensed Professional Engineer and President of Sefton Engineering Consultants, a 100% Veteran-Owned Firm located in Sedona, Arizona.  He has lived and practiced Civil Engineering in the Verde Valley for over 30 years and is an active member of a host of Community Organizations and Private Charities, including the Cottonwood and Sedona Chamber of Commerce, Rotary of the Red Rocks, Friends of Jack Jamesen Park, Verde Valley Military Service Park, and Secretary of Sedona 30.  He is also a member of Engage Sedona, a group that encourages citizen participation and input on a variety of issues affecting Sedona and the surrounding community.  Luke has engineered and represented many projects in the Verde Valley, including his company’s most recent achievement: Mariposa Latin Grill in Sedona and the Yavapai Apache Nation’s latest Housing and Community Center that has won numerous awards.  He is also the Civil Engineer for the Out of Africa Park Development.

 

Luke began his Military Service in 1985 when he enlisted as Combat Medic for the Indiana Army National Guard.  He later enrolled in the Indiana Military Academy and successfully graduated as an Officer.  Luke later moved to Arizona to obtain his degree in Civil Engineering.  During this time, he also served as an Ordinance Officer for the Arizona Army National Guard.  He was eventually mobilized to Saudi Arabia and later Kuwait to serve in Operation Desert Storm. 

 

He continued to serve in the Arizona Army National Guard upon his return and was ultimately promoted to Major and assigned as the Battalion Training Officer for the 981ST Troop Command, where he was responsible for overseeing the design and construction of projects for the 257th, 258th, and 259th Engineering Companies.  Luke was also Commander of the Flagstaff National Guard Unit and held various positions at Camp Navajo, as well as being a certified U.S. Army Instructor.

 

Today Luke is an active volunteer (and former Northern AZ Area Chair) for Employee Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) and was honored as Volunteer of the Year in 2011. His participation with ESGR assists in fostering a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States.  
As a trained Ombudsman, Luke works with employers and reservists as a neutral mediator in employment conflicts. 

 

Luke has received many decorations and awards from the Military for his management style, leadership, decision-making, and his ability to provide solutions to unique problems.

Timothy Huskett
Vice President P.E., C.F.M

Timothy Chee Huskett is a Licensed Professional Project Engineer with over 10 years of civil engineering design and project management experience.

He serves as a competent Project Engineer, equipped with strong communication, organization, and coordination skills, alongside being a highly efficient, hardworking, and talented Design Engineer.

His core technical expertise centers on flood studies, drainage reports, storm sewer design, subdivision development, and infrastructure planning—including street and utility plans, grading plans, and sewer and water systems for residential and commercial developments. He possesses specialized proficiency in hydrology, hydraulic system engineering, and floodplain development, maintaining a proven track record of executing project lifecycle plans safely, on time, and within cost-effective parameters while ensuring client satisfaction.

Previously, during his employment with Indian Health Services in the Winslow Service District, he assisted in the design and field inspections of water and septic systems servicing the Navajo Nation, while developing extensive experience in cost estimating and agency coordination.

Glenn Smith
Project Manager

Glenn E. Smith is an accomplished engineering and business leader with over two years of experience driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and innovation across civil and structural engineering, technology, and community support sectors.

As the Founder and Owner of NorthPoint Engineering, Inc. in Phoenix and Sedona, Glenn successfully scaled the civil and structural engineering firm to over 10 employees, managing high-profile projects totaling more than 10 million dollars annually while achieving a 200% revenue growth. His comprehensive business background also includes serving as a key executive for tech startup N2Plus/Digital Bridge—where he contributed to securing major accounts, driving strategic market penetration, and leading the company toward a public offering and acquisition—as well as dedicating several years as an independent employment specialist supporting vocational readiness across Arizona.

Glenn holds a B.S. in Business Management from Utah Valley University and expanded his technical expertise with a certification in AI and Cybersecurity from the University of Turku in Finland. Blending deep technical acumen in engineering and modern digital systems with proven leadership, he remains heavily engaged in community initiatives and technology innovation.
